A.V. Prafullchandra visits Sainiki Vidyalay :

In a good will gesture, a well-known music director from the Marathi film industry, Shri   A.V. Prafullachandra visited the sharada nagar   on 21st November. He had been brought up and educated at the Sainiki Vidyalaya in the campus. As a successful Alumnus of the institution, Prafullachandra     spent time   with the students and shared his experiences, post schooling. He has recently been a     Zee Award winner and presently   working with   a wide range of T.V. serials and films including the famous Jay Malhar, Lagira Zala Ji, Tuzayat Jeev Rangala etc. Students enjoyed an interactive music session with him.   He also advised the students to respond to their inner voice and not to lose it in the noise of others.                     

14th November the Children's Day Celebrated :

          Close on heels of the National Education Day, Children's Day was celebrated at the campus on 14 November, the Birth anniversary of Beloved Chacha Nehru. The school children from all the Units of SSM participated enthusiastically. Sweets were distributed on the occasion.                  The day was spent with whole lot  of fun-filled activities. A picnic was organized for students at the picturesque foot hills of Balaghat range.  Apart from remembering Pandit Nehru's attachment with children, a play was staged by the children. Some kids performed dances too. The celebrations concluded in the late afternoon with  delicious feast in the groove. 

United Soldiers conducted workshop on 'Seven Habits of Highly Successful Students'

  United Soldiers, a group  of Ex-Servicemen  organises workshops for motivating various age groups, conducted a 3- day workshop  for the students of Sainiki Vidyalaya  on 20 th , 21st, 22nd & 23 rd November.  Commandant S.K. Chaudhari delivered course  on inculcating Seven Habits of Highly Successful Students.                 A lot many interactive exercises, audio-visuals and some fun made students learn at first hand , how to gain control over their lives and build relationship. Through his  eloquent speaking skills, Comndt.Choudary  emphasized on ‘Synergy’ and ‘Collaboration of Solutions’.   He advised teenagers to plan their actions and fix priorities. Pre-Recruitment (Police) Training Centre opened at Sagroli:

                              A well facilitated Pre-Recruitment Police Training Centre is opened for the aspirants on 6 th November. Considering the previous experience, SSM has once again initiated this short term training so as to encourage the under privileged youth to make a career in the elite police services. An objective oriented curriculum and routine from the day one of its inception. Services of Experts in each field are made available so that the success rate reaches a remarkable number this time too. This 3 months training is extended to 30 participants including 2 girls. They are being trained to excel in physical skills like running, disk throw, long jump and such.  Besides languages the academic content also includes Mathematics and General Knowledge (Current Affairs)  to ensure better performance at the recruitments test.

NCC Cadets for Rock Climbing Camp at Gwalior:

            Each year eight Rock Climbing exposure Camps are held for NCC cadets where  the basics of Rock Climbing are taught along with a spirit of adventure.  On average a total of 1080 cadets are benefitted by these  camps.                 This year two cadets of Sainiki Vidyalays Cdt. Yash Gangasager  and Cdt. Visharad Chandankar attended  RCTC held at Gwalior between 1 st November  and 12th November.  During their camp the cadets were trained in various aspects of climbing like the jumaring technique, sliding and rappelling.  Apart from the rock-climbing activities, the  cadets also visited Taj Mahal and took part in tree plantation.  During their stay, they said, they learnt the importance of Unity and camaraderie. 

Sagroli Sunrise bags Bronze at YMCA Championship:

Maroti Jadhav a promising athlete from SSM's Sagroli Sunrise  stood third and bagged a bronze at the YMCA Athletic Championship meet held at Mumbai on 16 th November. He participated 800 metres  category.
